In 1963, founder Frits Schrouff discovered that Indonesian immigrants in the Netherlands missed the taste of their homeland. He traveled to Indonesia to import rice and soy products, which he then sold door-to-door with a delivery van. This modest beginning grew into Heuschen & Schrouff, a leading international importer and distributor of authentic Asian food and non-food products.
Today, Heuschen & Schrouff is the key supplier for Asian supermarkets, mainstream retail, foodservice, and industry in Europe. Our headquarters in Landgraaf serves as a melting pot of energy, ideas, and diverse cultures and languages, with more than 400 colleagues.
We have a storage capacity of 85,000 m² for over 5,000 different products. With more than 65 Asian top brands, including YumYum and Flying Goose, we are the European representative. Our products can be found in kitchens throughout Europe.
