We take care
We contribute to a better future for society, the environment, and our colleagues, while taking care of our families, each other, and our surroundings.

The Frits Schrouff Foundation was established by Frits Schrouff, founder of Heuschen & Schrouff, with the aim of making a lasting social impact both in Asia and in South Limburg. His many journeys to Asia and the personal connections he built there inspired him not only to pursue business success, but also to give something back to the communities he worked with.
The Foundation supports a wide range of social and community-based projects across various Asian countries. For example, a donation was made to Doctors Without Borders in support of a mother care project in Penang, Malaysia, which focuses on improving healthcare for mothers and newborns. Additionally, a FairTrade initiative was launched in Sakon Nakhon, northeastern Thailand, where six local farmers were supported in building greenhouses. These greenhouses allow them to grow chili peppers and herbs sustainably, benefiting both their income and the local food supply. These are just two examples of the many initiatives we support through the Foundation.
In addition to international projects, the Foundation is also committed to supporting local initiatives in South Limburg, the home base of Heuschen & Schrouff. The Foundation contributes to a variety of cultural, sporting, and social projects, such as music associations and local charities.
Each year, we organize the Frits Schrouff Award, where employees of Heuschen & Schrouff can nominate a charitable cause they would like to see supported by the Foundation. This initiative strengthens employee involvement in the Foundation’s social mission and fosters a deeper connection with its work.
